There is no separate Tamil shelf.
Most apps keep a small pile of translated stories in a corner, and it is always the shortest pile. StoryVeda does not work that way. Choose Tamil on your child's profile, press play, and the story is narrated for your child then and there. It takes about half a minute to be made — roughly the time it takes to get under the blanket and settle — and then it plays straight through.
Which means nothing is missing. If a story is in the library — mythology, science, fairy tales, real people who were once small — it is there in Tamil too. Not a selection someone else made. The whole shelf.
Your child's name, said properly
There is a phonetic field on every child profile. Fill it in the way you actually say the name at home and the Tamil narrator uses that, instead of guessing from the spelling.

The text switches to Tamil script at the same time, so an older child can follow the words while they listen — or read it themselves with the sound off.
Switch without losing anything
Hear a story tonight in Tamil and again tomorrow in English. Changing language does not replace the original or lose your child's place in it.
